Principal's Welcome

Dear Parents, Guardians, and Students:

As fall and the start of school are coming up fast, I would like to take this opportunity to welcome everybody back to a fun, productive year at Hillside.  I hope that everyone had a safe, rejuvenating summer full of family and friends and that students are prepared to embrace another year of learning.  As always, we have high expectations for our students and we look forward to helping them grow toward them.

In the meantime, I invite you to examine the Transition Day information found below.  This year, parents and students will once again use MISTAR ParentConnection to quickly and efficiently complete the annual review of and agreement to our policies and sign digitally.  

As the start of school approaches, students (and parents!) may be eager, anxious, excited, or cautiously optimistic; however you are feeling about the return, know that all of us at Hillside are working diligently to prepare the school and its classrooms to be ready for September 2.  I am proud to once again lead such a wonderful team so dedicated to student success.
