On Tuesday, November 17, 2020, the Northville Public Schools Board of Education unanimously approved the continuation of the District’s current COVID-19 Extended Learning Plan options available to students and families at each level for the second semester, which begins on February 1, 2020.
The Northville Public Schools COVID-19 Dashboard, with a link to a more detailed NPS COVID-19 Case Transparency Report, provides up-to-date information about COVID-19 reported positive/presumed positive cases affiliated with NPS students and/or staff members and resulting quarantines. Northville Public Schools Board of Education approved COVID-19 Extended Learning Plan and COVID-19 Response and Preparedness Plan are also available online, along with documentation of the review of COVID-19 risk mitigation protocols by the Wayne County Department of Health, Human and Veteran Services.

Pending State certification of the election results and a tie-breaking process overseen by the Wayne County Board of Canvassers, incumbent Sarah Prescott has been elected to a second four-year term on the Board of Education, with Board of Education candidates Lisa McIntyre, Lindsey Wilson, and either James Mazurek OR Kimberly Campbell-Voytal have been elected to four year terms beginning January 1, 2021 and through December 31, 2024. Candidates James Mazurek and Kimberly Campbell-Voytal have TIED for the fourth open seat on the Board of Education following the Wayne County Board of Canvassers certification of the election. A random draw, overseen by the County Board of Canvassers is anticipated after the election is certified by the State Board of Canvassers. The Wayne County Enhancement Millage renewal also received the support of voters with approximately 68% of voters in favor of the millage county-wide, and 32% opposed.
