All Hillside 8th grade students will be taking the PSAT 8/9 exam

Wednesday, October 19. The test will start promptly at the beginning of the school day
first hour at 8:12, so please ensure that your student is not tardy.

Students will be taking the test with their first hour teacher. Once the test directions are given, no other students may enter the room. The test is expected to last approximately three and a half hours, with breaks.
It will be important to prepare your child for this test by emphasizing the following:
• Getting a good night’s sleep
• Eating a nutritious breakfast
• Bringing
two number 2 pencils
(No mechanical pencils)
• Bringing an
approved calculator
• Leaving cell phones at home or in a locker.

* Please note there is no make-up day for this administration of the PSAT 8/9​
