Recently, Hillside Middle School held its 5th annual Spelling Bee. The winner will advance on to compete at the Regional bee, which is typically held in Detroit. Then the winner of that bee will go to the Scripps National Competition in Washington D.C.
After 25 rounds of intense spelling and over 160 words spelled, congratulations are owed to Andrew Assante (7th grader) for winning this year's bee. He will attend the Regional competition on March 15th. Good Luck!
