Northville Public Schools is committed to supporting the mental health and well-being of all students, and we’re excited to announce the launch of the Crisis Text Line. This free, confidential service is available 24/7 and is a valuable resource for students who may be going through a tough time or need someone to talk to.
Whether students are feeling overwhelmed, dealing with relationship issues, struggling in school, or facing more serious challenges like self-harm, the Crisis Text Line provides an accessible and anonymous way to get help. By texting #NPS to 741741, students can connect with a trained counselor who is separate from Northville Schools but ready to provide support in a safe, text-based format—no phone calls required.
This service allows students to reach out for assistance at any time of day or night, ensuring they have access to the help they need when they need it most. It’s a reminder that, no matter what they’re going through, students are never alone.
We encourage parents, guardians, and staff to learn more about the Crisis Text Line by reviewing the Crisis Text Line presentation and to share this resource with students. The more we all know about available support options, the better equipped we are to help students navigate difficult situations.
At Northville Public Schools, the mental health of our students is a top priority. We’re here to provide the resources and support that every student deserves.
