Printable First Day of School Signs are now available to help families celebrate the start of the 2025–26 school year on Tuesday, September 2, 2025.

Annual Registration for the 2025-2026 school year is now open for all current K-12 students. If you are new to our district, please enroll with us before filling out the annual registration.

Northville Public Schools has finalized the 2025–26 school calendar, including key dates such as professional development days, breaks, and the last day of classes. Additional building and grade-level details will be shared in the coming weeks.

The Northville Mustangs Varsity Football team will kick off their 2025 season at the 20th Annual Amazon Prep Kickoff Classic on Thursday, August 28 at 7 p.m. at Wayne State University’s Tom Adams Field. Fans can purchase tickets online, with a portion of proceeds benefiting Northville and other participating schools.

Northville High School’s student-led Color My World Club will host its annual Color Run on September 21 to raise awareness for mental health and teen suicide prevention.

The State of Michigan has not yet passed the 2025–26 K-12 budget bill, which includes funding for the Michigan School Meals program, creating uncertainty about whether free meals will continue for all students. Northville Public Schools will continue offering free meals for all students through September under the current budget, and we will share updates as soon as more information becomes available.

Brian Zhang, a 2025 Northville High School graduate, was one of just five students chosen to represent the U.S. at the 55th International Physics Olympiad in Paris, where he earned a Gold Medal. The competition brought together over 400 top high school physics students from more than 80 countries.

Northville voters approved the renewal of the district’s Sinking Fund millage in the August 5, 2025 special election, with approximately 71% voting YES across Wayne and Oakland counties. The renewal extends the .9357 mill levy through 2035, supporting infrastructure improvements and instructional technology while protecting the district’s General Fund.
